Kiki de Melo, born in Swampscott MA, is currently based in Boston. Working in photography, she explores the topics of emotions, self confrontation, changes from old to new, and the process of creating a “finished” photo. De Melo is currently a senior at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She was awarded the Gertrude Kasebier Monteith Prize in 2023 and received a scholarship to attend a week-long class at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in 2024.
